Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't seen any recalls addressing the frame rust issue on 2004 Tundras. It seems any campaign relates to 2003 or prior years or else 2005 and later years. Meanwhile I have an 2004 DC and noticed a nickel sized hole on the passenger side of the frame. There's also other rusting and some scaling occurring. The rest of the truck looks and runs like new. It has 212k on the clock. AM i wrong in saying that the rest issue did not include the 2004 model year? There no history of this Tundra being serviced for the frame issue, including any of the BS treatment Toyota was applying on less effected frames. Also, there's nothing regarding frame rust issue on the Toyota web site when I search by VIN.

If you don't have a recall or TSB open, you're pretty much SOL. I don't know about anything specific to the 2004 MY.

Call your nearest dealer and give them your VIN or go online to ToyotaOwners website, sign up, and enter VIN.
