What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I got those and the "tundra" decals for under the radio, they will be here Friday.

 

Hopefully it didnt out of nowhere get cloudy then pour lol, yep thats what happen but she beaded so its a plus in my book. Im sure it wont last long but for the price cant go wrong with it.

I wish they were a little heavier material. Overall I like them.

Just proof of concept right now. Screen is running off of the Samsung DeX platform that essentially turns my phone into a portable desktop computer.

I got my halo9 hooked up like that with DeX works good but hard to see the small icons good for waching yt music vids tho !!!!

 

Yeah, I'll mainly use it for navigation since I don't have nav in my head unit. This screen has 2 HDMI inputs so I'll probably set up a forward facing camera on it as well.

 

Bilstein 5100 top setting with nothing done to the rear. Some rubbing on skid plate at full turn,bend it up, now no rub.

 

What wife did to the 3rd gen today. Her spoiler hit the tail light, other part hit the steel Linexed bumper, not a mark.

 

Today I dropped off front bumper ends from @Roman with a buddy to have painted 1G3 (MGM). Yesterday I did my first oil change at 1436 miles, and installed a Fumoto valve as well as the metal filter housing (swapped tube over to new housing). Nothing to really take a picture of, except the big splash of oil all over my front right wheel and tire. That thin 0W-20 really gushes out, don't it? At least now I have the valve on, so it won't happen again. Also the skidplate is kind of a hassle.

 

Got my custom TRD decals finally. Now it’s time to install...

 

How's the signal compared to the longer one?

so i have a 2017 with the TSS wheels similar to yours, but yours seems to have more offset. is it me seeing it wrong? yours seems to have more lip to it from the edge of the wheel at the rim to the spoke. i put a pic of mine to show how the edge of my wheels is flush with the spoke. Mine are +50 offset. Thanks in advance for any info. Your truck looks awesome too man!

I did the same with the tundra badge, but got rid of the top one and put a blacked out flag. My next step is to get blacked out trd sport stickers.

 

Interested in seeing the final product installed.

 

I actually found them on eBay. The seller had all of them except for one of the "Tundra" overlays. I asked them if I bought what was left would thth give me a discount, and he said yes. So I got all of them for 35 shipped and bought a blacked out "Tundra" OEM emblem to complete the set for 9 bucks on eBay. So 44 bucks all together. Not bad...

 

Score! I PD'd mine, but the Tundra sits out 24/7 365, so it's starting to fade

 

Yeah, and after seeing them, I can't believe the dealer wants 125-145 for them. They're just flimsy plastic with emblem tape underneath!!
