    Yep MTB. I was unconscious on the trail. 2 miles from pavement. A good samaritan found me and took me to ER. Concussion, broken collar bone, and broken/separated ribs. I lost the whole day. I don't remember anything. I don't even remember going to work that morning before the ride. My helmet is cracked in 4 places ( I always wear a full face) and I had helmet burns on my forehead from the impact:

    Holy cow that is one hell of a crash. So lucky the guy found you too as that could have been really bad. Reason #1 i hate to riding by myself but sometimes no one else can ride when you want to. Happy to hear the helmet worked how it was supposed to and your noggin is still intact. Where were you riding?

    Bummer you are missing T2S. I was looking forward to meeting everyone from SD.

    I was riding Greer ranch off 215 and Scott rd. Mostly black diamond enduro trails. I suspect that I went off trail and took a header off a 3 to 4 foot ledge but I can't confirm since I don't remember anything. But the spot where my strava tracks veered to the fire road has lots of places where going off trail would be bad.
