New Tundra (to me) Help me identify Alarm please

Hi all I just bought me a 14 Tundra platinum crewmax and I'm trying to see if it has a remote start. It didn't come with the original fobs just the aftermarket ones I'm really wanting to see if it has remote start and if I'm just not smart enough to figure it out. I wasn't sure if the platinum came stock with it. If it helps I know the truck came out of Canada. Thanks in advance!!

You might even try pressing 2 buttons simultaneously. Seems like the key button would have something to do with it. Good luck.

 

Be careful, make sure you don't accidentally activate the self destruct mode.

 

and try holding the trunk button down a few seconds

 

From reading the instructions, hold the key symbol down for 2 seconds then it should start right up!

 

Thanks all I down loaded the book for it found the switch under the dash and nothing I guess its back to the dealer to fix it....UGH...

 

I've got same one and my truck also came from Canada. Press and hold the button with the key and starts up. Press and hold the lock and unlock buttons and mine makes the horn play a GTA style horn sound. My kids love it and have about killed my remote battery. LOL

 

Thanks everyone.....mine will unlock and lock the truck but it won't start it. Nor does it make the lights under the mirrors come on......
