Best way to source local buyers. Autotrader, craigslist, or car fax? This is my first time selling and wanted to maximize my return. Not looking to do a trade in since I have other vics. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

I would try Tundra forums and local craigslist first. It might depend on your location though. In CA that works well.

Carmax has surprisingly good offers for late model vehicles.

Depends on how quickly you need to sell. Craigslist is free, so that’s a no brainer. AutoTrader has different levels and seems to be one of the mass sites that’s commonly known. I think you can do like a one month, 6 month or keep your ad until it sells. Last time I used AT, it seemed fairly reasonable.

If you’re in a hurry to sell, I’d put the truck on as many shopping platforms as possible.

Put it on as many free sites as you can and put as many pics of it as each site will allow.

Hit up Carvana as well for an offer. I got the best offer from them when selling my previous vehicle.

This really confused me for just a moment until I realized I was no longer looking at the tractor forums.

Correction Craigslist used to be free. As of Monday April 15, 2019 they were going to start charging $5 per "Car For Sale" listing. I listed my Expedition up Sunday before the new fee took affect but did see in red letters that the fee was coming on Monday. I guess I will see what happens Saturday when I try to renew the listing. Lets see how that works out for them as Facebook Marketplace is still for free.

FB Marketplace needs a fee for Auto sales as well. Too much fake crap on there!
