Recently purchased a rear TRD Pro sway bar for my 2016 Tundra Crewmax SR5. Looks like other years (e.g. 2018) have sway bar options for the front and the rear. Anyone know if 2016 only has the rear available and there is nothing for the front? Sorry if this is a dumb question, couldn’t find it explicitly covered in any other threads. Thx!

The truck hasn't changed. The sway bars are the same from '07 to present.

2nd and 3rd gen come with a front sway bar stock on all trims. pros and some sports i believe come with trd front and rear or stock front trd rear respectively

Yep, they are just listed as 2018 and up because the TRD pro front sway bar for tundras wasn’t introduced until 2018. It’s a direct replacement and will fit your 2016 no problem.

Thanks for the info! So, as another dumb question - the 2016 came stock with front sway bars? So, adding TRD Pro sway bars would not accomplish anything performance-wise, but they would match the rear? Thx!

TRD rear sway bar, console organizer, stubby antenna, LEDs for cabin, cargo, license plate, and reverse lights, power-fold mirrors, Westin nerf bars, full stereo upgrade. Future - color-match grill surround/bulge, mirror caps, handles, plasti-dip badges.
From what I've read, the TRD front sway bar is thicker and heavier. It's not going to give you a noticeable improvement like the rear will, but it may help.

TRD is solid piece, other is hollow. Minimal improvement up front.

Thanks for the info - have you been happy with them thus far? I'm assuming you did them both at the same time, but did you notice any difference in the front stock vs. TRD Pro? Thx!

You will notice a little on the front...a lot on the rear. I have both on my 2014 CM.

    Overall, very happy.

Have a breaker bar and be prepared for a lot of cussing. It’s not hard to install. It was only like 8 bolts, but mine were hard to loosen. Also need an Allen wrench for the nut on the stabilizer link. Don’t need to raise the truck or anything.

If you’re lifted and or run larger wheels/tires up front I do think the TRD bar offers a better more solid feel than the OEM. Not a huge improvement but noticeable.
