Any cheap solutions for the JBL junk system?

I have been searching the forms for months looking for a cheap solution to fix the JUNK JBL system in my 2018 platinum crewmax.

I just finished reading the 8 pages of a thread that said they fixed it for $100, but it did not have a clear ending on how it was done.

I am not an audio freak , but I want the system to at least be loud enough - currently I can still talk to the passengers while the radio is at full volume.

Is there any option to fix this Junk system without spending thousand$ ??

 

Talk to James at Tech12Volts, tell him what your needs and budget are and he can recommend what to do. There are no $100 fixes. You are looking at a new amp and speakers more than likely.

 

What's your definition to cheap? I think thats an important piece of the puzzle. But James at Tech12Volts has some good options. I am a fan of the packages he has thrown together.

A sizeable amp may shorten the life of your OEM speakers. Then replacing is more money.

FYI, replaced the Head Unit only with a Pioneer 50W x 4 and it is much better even with stock speakers. There are other brand head units with same wattage.

I replaced all my speakers from Tech12volts. Very happy with the results. He also offers an amp option if you want more.

 

Gonna add a 300 watt rms 10 inch sub and two tweeters up front all powers by an aftermarket amp.
