Thanks for all the welcomes and comments. Truck was a 08. It was in 2010 and we were in BC CANADA landphil. Supposed to be my hunt of a lifetime. Moose. Anyway about 2130 just outside the glacier park a moose ran onto the road, my brother dodged and hit the soft shoulder on the other side. Truck turned over, fell on its top and slid till my side hit a rock. The good Lord was watching over us cause neither of us got a scratch until my brother was trying to pull me out thru the passenger window while I was still hanging upside down in the seatbelt and my foot was caught under the dash. Then I got a scratch on my hand from broken glass that didn’t bleed a drop. You couldn’t see the truck from the road and it took a while to climb out. I believe the combination of the front of the topper and the back of the cab kept us from a lot of injuries.
I wanted that emblem Tokerjoker. I tried to kick it out but I think the whole grill must be made of steel.
Ncorry how'd you get that thar big truck down in there in them trees? I’ll bet that was like the big ticket ride at Disney land!
I loved that truck. 52 k miles and 5 payments left. There’s no way to make that up.
I think every moose in Canada is still laughing cause that’s the only one we saw.

In true Canadian fashion, I’m sorry for what our moose did to you and your truck. Half kidding. Half serious.

And I thought I’d had some bad hunting trips.

I still have the front emblem from my ‘06 Tacoma that met it’s end a few years ago. That was a major frontal crash and I picked the emblem up off the highway. Unbroken. The cop laughed.

You driving a different Tundra these days?

Yeah a 13. Wish I’d waited for a 14. I was counting and the trip was in 2012 not 2010. HAD to get another truck so got the 2013. I still had/have a 2001 GMC and my bride was trying hard to keep me off the dealership lot. (“You have a truck, you don’t need two”). (Same thing she said when I bought the 08).
