Hi guys, got an issue with my high mileage CLUNKER. its a 2014 crewmax with 150k miles on her.

I have some serious clunk noises when accelerating from a stop.

In the morning, when i take just start up, the clunk is not there, or very faint. It only becomes pronounced after driving for 15 minutes or so, and there is a second clunk that emerges.

1st- After i let off the brake - Clunk (felt more in the steering wheel)

2nd- When i touch the accelerator - Clunk (feels more like its coming from the center/rear of the truck) Sometimes this clunk is 2-3 clunks, one pronounced one and two less pronounced ones.

I greased the slip yolk recently with the ford slip yolk grease and it didnt help any.

I will take it to the dealer tomorrow. can anyone give me some insight?

    Thanks everyone.

Based off where you feel like it's coming from and when it's happening I'd say you might have an issue with your rear differential. Could be something simple like fluid level, or you could have a driveline connector issue.
