I've got a 2012 with the 5.7 non flex fuel engine (179,000 miles) that is running rough on start up and it will throw the P0301 code. I have already replaced the coil pack, spark plugs and gas cap. The weird thing is it only happens every three to 4 days. I reset the code with my ODBII reader and the truck starts up and runs fine.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Clogged fuel injectors or maybe bad gas? Might wanna try throwing some fuel injector cleaner in your tank

I did replace the fuel injector on cylinder 1 and that didn't fix it.

I cleaned the Mass Ait flow sensor and it seems to have fixed the issue the last few days.

    Thanks guys for the recommendations!
