Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I just recently bought a 2015 tundra 1794 and I eventually want to get a lift kit, I've been eyeing the Toytec BOSS with shackles in the rear I just need to know if it can handle my drive. I basically drive 98% pavement with maybe some very light off roading when I go camping. What concerns me is that I have a 20ft enclosed trailer which I tow around 7-10 times a year with weights ranging anywhere from 7-10k pounds. I have a feeling shackles in the rear arnt enough, I've been reading that some people install airbags, but not sure if I need them since I tow something maybe once or twice a month. Would a weight distribution hitch be enough? If not, what's my best option for my rear setup?

The lift will be fine for towing. The WDH setup properly should make you level. But I have a feeling your gonna need airbags.. Approaching 10k is something I would never do. Good luck and be safe.

Not a huge fan of toytec stuff minus the shackles. I’d put air bags on for towing That amount and a sway bar.

ToyTec has great suspension offerings to choose from. Huge fan here. They specialize in Toyota and their employees and the even the owner test out what they sell here in the mountains of Colorado. Can't go wrong with ToyTec. Air bags and sway bar would be a good addition. @ColoradoTJ is our resident towing expert.

Judging from your driving description it doesn’t sound like you need any sort of lift.
