Mine must be extra basic then lol. I don't have the "apps" button on mine. The button where yours says "apps", mine says "setup".

Heres how mine looks. And when I'm in general settings there is nothing there about a startup image.

 

This is what I have on my screen. Have to get a real screen shot later.

My image only shows for a split second on start-up, after the Toyota logo. Anyone know how to extend the time that the start-up screen displays? Or remove the Toyota logo all together? Thanks.

 

For the guys who got this to work: when you do not have a USB thumb drive inserted into the slot does it still give the "customize startup image" and "customize screen off image" buttons?

Could possibly be my thumb drive, but I doubt it. Pretty sure Toyota is punishing me for being cheap.

 

It's because you have the lower end radio that does not have "entune". Looks like your screen is smaller as well, humm. You could probably pick one up cheap somewhere and swap them out I'd guess.

 

It's still called "entune" but its the most basic version that doesn't have XM radio or Navigation and yeah it is a smaller screen then the other 2 packages. Anyone done this swap before?

 

I think it just replaces that top section of the radio. Here is one someone I guess has on sale here:

Meh. Can't justify spending $400 just to add pictures lol. Would never use any of the other features. Thanks for pointing that out though! Maybe one day I'll come across someone parting out a wrecked Tundra and get a good deal on the next package up.

 

No doubt, I dont know how else the radio differs except for HD and XM I guess. To be honest, the photo pops up and is gone so fast, I dont even notice it half the time. But it is nice when I take it to get service or washed, I can turn the screen off so its just the Texas Flag.

But otherwise, that shows you how the replacement would look.

 

Yup... word is Law has a Tundra in every color to match all his suits.
