My 2010 4.6 liter v8 tundra’s battery meter jumps from 12v to 16v when driving. When I put my foot down on the gas my speedometer drops down down to zero then back up to the speed that I’m going.. not sure what’s going on here.. I just replaced my battery before the winter and replaced the alternator 6 months before that.. truck has 180k.. anyone know what’s going on?

Voltage regulator is crapping out, you'll need a new alternator soon.
