    I was told by a dealer that the TRDSHIP code was an internal coupon for Toyota employees. It got out on a few forums and when Toyota found out they disabled the code.

    The TRD air intake accelerator has bigger opening than the non-trd one. Hence, more air gets in the airbox.

    I didn't really know what it did either but I saw a lot of people saying that with this and the filter I'm basically what the TRD intake was less the eye candy...but I guess I could have bought that too...My last email was yesterday saying it was received...nothing to pick up yet but.

    Good luck, let me know when you get your email for pick up! I'm hoping early next week

    I’m excited about all of it, I got all three items for less than what the exhaust would have cost , and shipping would have killed me on the exhaust, luckily I had a dealer within 50 miles that was participating!

    Yea I was told same, used the code on intake, caps, few small items and the skid plate.. shipping quote said “TBD” so figured if anything they’d just charge me for shipping the skid from SC to NJ... just got hit with $120 shipping quote and yes I placed order early enough before the code was disabled. Should have placed separate orders with the skid since the code worked on the other items in my cart

    Haven't heard anything on either of my orders. I had to call the dealership yesterday due to an issue with the website and the parts guy said they had over 100 orders already placed (this was about noon). I would assume with everyone jumping in on this sale that items will be on backorder at some point. They told me that the exhaust and intake had to be ordered since they didn't stock it. Hopefully they can hold my items there until ALL are ready to be picked up. I've got about a 2 hr drive each way (240mi round trip) and I don't want to make more than 1 trip to pick everything up.
