I made a thread a few days back about a trail run with the local guys and I was telling @Marty McFly about the Holcomb Rd (3N16) Trail on the north side of Big Bear. I did it the other day on stock suspension with At tires. It takes about 2- 2 1/2 hours and is about 10 miles long. Only thing is you would more thank likely need 4x4 as it’s pretty muddy still from all the rain a few weeks ago. Only sucky part is that it gets a little bumpy toward the end but nothing crazy at all. Plus it has great views of the SB Forest. Oh and I pulled out a Jeep that day too

 

must be getting busier... i put a deposit on 2/25 and they said 4-6 weeks. called again last week and they said 2 weeks which would be about 8.

which ones you go with?

I think a bunch of us would love to join you in Big Bear! Just need to put a route and date out. When the BAsTRD's come down to thrash, we'll probably all want to jump in then too, either cheering from the sidelines or trying to keep up! But we can do another BB meet too. It is a long drive from San Diego though, so I'll go along with this May 4th meet in Riverside being "freeway close", and go from there. Still a lot of people we know on line but haven't yet met in person. I'm excited!

 

Hmmn, we'd have to renew our diiscusson about portable blenders for margharitas on the trail! @nishibot @fisherman951

We'll work it out. My family signed off on Saturday May 4, and a lot of people will prefer to do non-driving events on Cinco de Mayo, so it may have to stay Saturday. (Starts thinking of how to kidnap @Tundra4Pinay... and her mom.)

 

I can work on having my brother take up the slack, or if anything may join in early afternoon wherever we meet.

Haha! We don't need to all fit in. Just to plug in a blender within reach of a door.
