I bought a Pioneer CarPlay head-unit and need to connect the reverse signal wire from the Pioneer to the passenger side kick panel harnesses.

I've connected the wire outside the dash to test it and it works fine but I don't know how to run it behind the dashboard. The 2nd gen Tundras seem to have one giant dashboard piece and I really don't want to remove all that. Is there an easier way? I've seen someone mention connecting the wire to a coat hanger or something but I wasn't clear if that applied to the 2nd gen trucks. Removing the glove boxes sounds easier but I'm not sure if those can be removed without the whole dash and I wasn't able to find out how to remove them properly.

If only the signal wire was on the driver's side which would be much easier

I ran mine without pulling the dashboard. I can't remember the exact route, but I think I ran it under the front of the dashboard across the glove box. Then routed it up until I could grab it through the hole for the HU. Wasn't too bad.

Removing the glove box is really easy. Watch a YouTube on how to change cabin filter because that's what has to happen to get to that as well
