    Is 2nd gen tundra with 6.5’long bed has a same dimensions as the latest 6.5’ long Tundra

    On the 3rd generation, inside bed length on the 6.5 ft bed is 78.7 inches long and 50" wide between the wheelwells and 66.4" wide at the tailgate. not sure on 2nd gen get your measuring tape out.

    Thanks for all replies
    Most importantly I need dimensions for the bed upper lip as trying to install a pace Edwards bed locker bed cover for which was originally purchased for 2006 Tundra. Now trying to put it on my 2014 Tundra
    Anyone familiar with this type of bed cover? Remote operated

    The tailgates are different. Not sure if it will affect fitment.

    It seems tonneau covers, caps, shells, etc, are usually listed to fit either '07-'13 or '14 and up.

    I don't know what the real difference is but you may be able to make it work.
