    I picked up a new 2019 Tundra Double Cab SR5 Premium about 2 weeks ago. I've had 4 Ford F150s, a Ford Explorer and Ford Ranger in the past. In 2017 I decided I didn't really need a truck anymore and bought a Focus RS. Now, I decided that was a ton of fun, but I desperately wanted my truck back =).

    I put the Focus RS up for sale and went truck shopping. I intended to just go purchase another F150, but really don't care for the new body style and the interior was a little weird. Just couldn't quite do it.

    In my city, Ford, Dodge, Chevy and Toyota are on the same street. It's basically an unofficial auto mall. After quite a bit of test driving and research, I made the decision to go with a Tundra.

    I don't need anything crazy in a truck. I tow / haul somewhat infrequently, offroad to a minimal extent on camping / fishing trips, but overall I have always driven trucks because I'm 6' 4" and they fit me better than cars. It's also nice being high enough to see over other traffic.

    I bought this truck stock, no aftermarket parts. I had the windows tinted the week I bought it, and yesterday just put in an order to really do it up the way I want it.

    I've ordered the following, should be here and ready for install in the next week or two:

    - Toytec 3" lift kit w/ Diff Drop
    - Running boards
    - 20" Fuel Cleaver wheels
    - 34" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires (275/65/20/10)
    - Appointment scheduled to have a spray in bed liner applied

    I'll come back and post a new pic once the first round of mods is done, just wanted to say hi to everyone and introduce myself.

    Also debating blacking the emblems... but need to see how everything else looks first...

    Welcome! That’s a nice set of mods you’ve ordered, you would think you had tundras before. I love the color, I have the same color. I actually went to get that desert sand color, but they didn’t have it. This color ended up growing on me, now I love it and I rarely ever see it driving around.
