I just installed some Eibach coilovers on my 3rd gen but the boot on the front sway-bar end link came off while I was messing with reinstalling. Can I expand the ring around the boot somehow and put the boot back on or do I have to replace the entire end link? I attempted to reinstall by hand but couldn't get the ring open enough.

Are there any tricks to getting it back on?
