My wife upgraded from a 2011 Camry to a 2019 Corolla. Bought with 18 miles on the clock...

Love the car, not so much on the dealership's detail guys....

Long story short, there were a couple of grease pencil marks on the inside door panel by the window (where your arm rests) and on the grab bar to close the door. Also found a spec on the steering wheel. I was VERY insistent on wanting to deal with it myself but the salesman was overeager to please. Off to the detail shop we go.. They used some pink cleaner and that did nothing then the detail guy broke out the big guns (smelled like acetone) and proceeded to take off the finish and color of the plastic piece at the top of the door. No worries he says and goes and get some spray and proceeds to soak the top plastic, window, etc in some shit I know not what it was. Kinda went on like scotch guard and made everything shiny. Advised me to wait until it dried. I knew what it would look like when dry but whatever and off we went, the salesman assured me it would be taken care of if I wasn't fully satisfied. It looks like complete shit, whited out plastic. So i'll have to make a trip for that at some point in the very near future.

My only other complaint was detail oriented as well, they did a shit job of prepping the car but it really didn't matter much as soon as we got home I broke out the clay bar and chemical guys Pete's 53. Killed a whole clay bar on the car with all the contaminants it pulled off but it was worth it.

Nice, really nice! But the thing I noticed is you have leaves on your trees in the background. We won't have them here for another month and a half....

Thank you! It was a group effort, my wife and son helped as well. It went fast and everyone learned a little something and had a good time.
