i noticed several post are related to malfunctioning of the pre collision sensor and I have the same problem. I took delivery of a 2019 Toyota Tundra on Jan 30. I traded in a 2016 that never had that problem or any problem except the brake repair from this same dealership. The truck has been in and out of service since the first week. 5 times! The service department don’t know why or how to fix the problem. I asked them to replace the sensor from the beginning and was told no. Finally the service manager decided to recalibrate the system and that did not solve the problem. Now I no longer want the truck because I fear for my safety. This truck was delivered in such a way it would take too long for me to write it. So now I contact Toyota and have to pick up the truck today again for the 6 time. Not to mention I was driving the loaner a Toyota Camry and the PCS came on in that. Nothing around me when it happened. I have pictures. I also own a Lexus sports car and it too has the PCS but it has never shown up. I am very familiar with this feature. I believe there is a manufacturer defect issue that we are all experiencing with these Toyota’s and no one will listen until something tragic happens.

Well, the PCS is no replacement for safe driving. If something tragic were to happen, it’s from the wrong doing of the driver, not the sensor.

I got this once and reported it. Dealer said there was some recall related to it.

Don’t think it would cause any accidents though, the safety feature is simply deactivated.

I get it daily in the same spot, at the same time. The salesman owned one, and he told me it would happen all the time... At least he was honest.

OP...Seriously???? I feel safe driving my 07 without the "new" sensors. If you have to depend on the new sensors to drive without fear....then...fill in the blanks _____________^.
