2002 tundra sr5 trd offroad 132,000 mi. True Flow cold air intake system. Flow tru exhaust ( I can't remember maker)
I am a new member but an old Tundra owner. Purchased in late 2001 my 02 SR5 TRD Off Road truck spent its early years taking me to and from work, hauling wood, rocks, dirt, pulling stumps and anything else needed on my 5 ac hillside of the American River Canyon in the foothills of No. Calif. It was my most important tool. It has been regularly serviced, synthetic oil only, since i bought it new. It hauled a 6,800 lb 5th wheel for 13 yrs before we no longer trailer camped and it sat most of the time in my driveway. When i look at my truck see all the dents, scratches and dings but from say 10-15 ft it really looks pretty good. I take care of the black wheel and bumper trim, the head lamps and other little stuff. It has a True Flow cold air intake system and a flowmaster exhaust system. My problem is this: My local mechanic always cleaned the air filter for me. I cannot find instructions on how to do this myself. I am 74 and while not suffering from dementia (yet) tend to forget stuff and work will with written instructions. Any help you can provide in servicing my True Flow air system would be appreciated.
