Hello guys i’ve got a 2008 Toyota tundra crew Max 57 with 120,000 miles on it one owner I’m the only on the original owner I was driving down the highway the other day and was doing 65 miles an hour when the light turned red I slow down then it turned green and I eased into the throttle and all the sudden it started knocking and all the dash lights came on I made it home and started looking around and couldn’t find anything wrong with it so I drained the oil. The oriole I found a pile of metal shavings so now I’m looking at getting another motor is this still under warranty and be covered by Toyota or am I screwed and have to pay for all this myself?

    Welcome from NY.

Sorry to hear this. It's 11 years old, unless you have an extended warranty that covers that mileage and age I would think you have to foot the bill. Good luck.
