    I played the "I've been a Prime member for 10 years" card. I was also super nice about it. I also had to talk to a supervisor. I explained everything that went down. He is sending me the difference as an Amazon gift card and I just reorder.

    The initial person I talked to was named Chelsea. She was great, but said she couldn’t do anything after asking her supervisor. Then she asked if I wanted to speak to a supervisor. I said yes and she sent me to Ivan from the Amazon Leadership Team. I explained my whole spiel about 4Wheel Online and approached it as wanting to report this seller (which I did). Then I politely asked if there was anything Amazon could do since I’ve been a member for 10 years. I told Ivan I fully understood that this was not Amazon’s fault in any way, but I would be extremely happy if he could help me out. He then put me on hold to check and see what he could do for me since “You’ve been such a great member”. He put me on hold for about 5 minutes and told me that he could honor the price for one set by refunding the difference on a current set. I was very nice and humble throughout the whole process.

    Some people have gotten lucky by calling them back. It’s worth a try. I was on the phone with Amazon for a little over an hour. They had to check on another order for me as well. My Tyger Tonneau cover was suppose to be delivered yesterday, but Fedex is holding it in TN. Turns out the box was empty so I had to get a refund for that as well.
