    Hello all,

My truck intermittently shakes while braking. The steering wheel doesn't shake, the whole truck does. I don't feel anything in the steering wheel or the pedal. Could I potentially have air in the brake lines? It's more of a front to back shake like I lose braking power for a split second over and over again. I have Powerstop drilled/slotted rotors front and back with hawk pads. It was installed roughly 3000 miles ago and I seem to remember it did it slightly then and now it just seems to be getting worse. I also have 1.25" Bora spacers that were installed after the brakes and was told by the guys who installed them that I shouldn't need them re torqued after x amount of miles.

    Thanks for any input

Sounds like warped rotors. Any pulsing through the pedal?

My guess would be rotors as well.

Your rear rotors are warped. Front rotors you feel in the steering wheel. Rear you feel through the truck/seats. Or a rear caliper is sticking. Either way, the vibration you’re feeling is stemming from the rear.

Check for sticking caliper pistons, there's 4 on each side of the brake, if one or two is not doing its job it'll unevenly press against the rotor and could cause shaking. Check your ball joints, control arms, axles, warped rotors. It could be a lot of tracing to get to the source, good luck.
