I'm replacing the stock halogen fog light on my 2017 Tundra Limited. FYI, I have already upgraded the headlights to the 2018 LED lights (and love them!).

I was going to order the DOT compliant version RIGID sales on their site, SAE Compliant Fog Lights (Part No 504813), but now that Toyota has a Rigid version specific to the 2019 TRD Pro I wanted to compare both. The DOT version from the Rigid site says they are 22 watts, with 1760 lumens, and 106 lux @ 10 M. I haven't been able to find any specs for the version available for the 2019 TRD Pro. The lens is definitely different between the two.

At first, I was contemplating Rigid DOT version fog lights to the Baja Designs Squadron Series, but now that the 2019 TRD pro is going with Rigid it I'm leaning towards Rigid and perhaps picking up a Baja Designs light bar or pillar lights later instead.

Someone just posted a thread where they made their own brackets for the Rigid's. Once I have a spare minute I will try to find it for you.

Baja Designs will be coming out with an SAE approved fog light shortly. Just throwing that out there!

Thank you. I think you mean this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/diy-trd-pro-rigid-fog-lights.34224/

I was actually trying to see which rigid fog lights are brighter, the SAC DOT ones directly from Rigid or the ones that come on the Tundra TRD Pro 2019 (also by Rigid). I know the SAC DOT version are much cheaper so I may just go that route with the OEM 2019 bezel and custom bracket.

The 2019 pro fogs are over 800 bucks which to me is ridiculous

Some Mods :) See build thread for details
Dont buy from Toyota. Go direct to Rigid or Baja Designs. Both have a bracket mount that works with their lights.
You can also buy through Toytec Lifts or sdhq offroad

I have a 2019 Pro and the rigid lights seem have 2 bulbs and a mirror. Maybe i am off on this. But was looking to see if these from Toyota are downgraded somehow in brightness. I have a friend with a ford and he had his rigid lights installed and are allot brighter. And his have what looks like 4 bulbs in the same size lights.

Anyone else notice this? Or am i just crazy.

You're not crazy, I noticed that also. I had a 2018 1794 edition with the led fogs and they were great, the rigids in the Pro seem like a downgrade as far as light output goes
