Ok, so I am heading to an appointment yesterday and as I was getting on the interstate I noticed a pretty severe vibration. I got off the next exit , which happened to be where the Toyota dealer was. One of clips came off the u joint behind the carrier bearing and it destroyed the driveshaft. So they want $1500 to replace the back half...........OK, not doing that!! I am getting it towed home tomorrow but I need to order a new driveshaft.. Any suggestions on where to look for a good quality aftermarket driveshaft ?

Try a heavy truck service center in your area. We have one in our area that specializes in making new propellor shafts. They do new u-joints etc.

I would recommend the same thing. We have a driveshaft shop here that will make ones for you to spec.

If you have a Yukon Gear & Axle near you, they can order you a decent replacement drive shaft.
