Did you miss where I put the Amazon prices on last night? The premium is not 80 more. The one I have is 684 right now and the one with led lights is 711.

@Hammy68 ill go back and look. I have not checked Amazon yet.. unfortunately they collect tax for MS now.. so If i can, i try to reach out to other out of state vendors and get their best deal.. right now i was given two prices.. EH-TUN5514 - $645 out the door - HC-TUN5514 - $725 out the door.. (no tax & free shipping) so thats where i got my $80 difference from.. non the less, if i go RC ill be getting the E-Series

@tundra403 Here are some photos of the clamps etc. on the E Series Rugged Liner. The forward and rear clamps have the track slides that come with the kit. These tighten into the OEM track and provide a lip for the aluminum clamp to lock into. I found that by adding a large nut as a spacer to bring the plastic twist grip down, I could get the clamp into the truck’s track, which is much sturdier and easier to use. In the pics I just haven’t removed the track slide that came with the kit. 9477BCD1-2AB3-4A1F-B662-19D77FEE088F.jpg509DB298-73CA-4565-A7C0-656F3B1ED66A.jpg CEA5D25F-A4B9-4CDC-A395-3A2561443A1E.jpgBA3A7CF7-3024-407C-A683-96034E7E3D7F.jpg F1C47BAA-E1F5-40D8-B421-53C42B7E73AF.jpg46DA9B8D-2CB4-49B7-8164-A8D9352D2FE9.jpg

Only thing I can say that kind of a negative about the RC is the rear clamps. If you haul something large and it happens to roll around it could break one of those rear plastic clamps. That’s the only thing I worry about. Just have to pay attention and you’ll be fine

That’s true, but at least they provided an extensive replacement parts list if that did happen. I’ve had so much stuff piled in the back that I’ve only been able to lock one side, and that held good also.

Yeah I saw that replacement parts list in the box. They would probably send you one at no charge if you called them and explain how it broke.

Just my cents, check out TYGER covers. I have one on my 14 Tundra, install was easy, price was around $250 and have not had a leak. Been on the truck for 3 years and still looks like new. Planning on buying another one for my Crewmax. Check them out.

Did look at those, but is it a hard Tri Fold?

Yes, they are a tri-fold. I have one on my DC that I am selling. Picking up a Crewmax. Tyger also has a semi hard tri- fold cover as well. That is the one i am looking at. All the other hard covers are nice, but way to expensive.

I second the Tyger tri-fold. Just put mine on yesterday in about 10 minutes. Looks good and appears to seal good. I'll check for leaks after the gullywasher we are expecting tomorrow.

Ive been looking for tri-fold covers too. That Tyger hard cover tri looks very interesting at a good price. I see it for 539 on their website but looks to be out of stock. I had been loking at the Rugged Cover E tri and the Extang 2.0. Not sure which one Ill go with...soo many choices!

The Tyger hardcover looks virtually identical to the Rugged Cover I have. Same clamps, same build, same aluminum panels and pattern. Wonder if Truck Hero makes these for Tyger now. Tyger didn’t have the total hardcover yet when I was looking in October or I would probably have grabbed one at this price.

These tri-fold covers that don't fold up the last third of the cover would not allow much access to the bed for tall stuff. At least the Bak-Flip and Undercover Flex covers will fold up against the cab for full bed access. That Lomax cover would be my pick if it folded up to the bed.

True, they don’t fold up out of the way, but for the occasional situation where I need the whole bed space, it’s not a big deal to remove the Rugged Cover....it comes off in about 30 seconds- and my back window view or powered down window isn’t blocked.

    A bunch
I've used both the sit on top and the flush mount ones a bunch on a few different trucks. The sit on top ones tend to be a little better waterproof, but you do lose the ability to fold up and use the entire bed at any time. The flush ones tend to not be as good of a seal at the tailgate, even the one where you have to close the tailgate before closing the cover. The biggest difference is unlocking them though - and it all comes down to personal choice. I like the cord unlocking both sides for the flush ones, they take no work to close (just slam it down) and I can be standing in the middle of the tailgate and open the cover.

I think i am going with Lomax.. i have a great offer on it now for the tune of 675... i like how its low profile.. comes off quick... havent read any shitty reviews on it yet.. so might as well give it a shot... if not.. ill go rugged cover 2.

I am thinking about the Lomax as well. Best price I have seen is 953.70 from every website that sells them. Like posted previously, I think the manufacturer must set these prices. Where are you finding it for 675?

Rick, check out autoanything.com. They have a 20% code ssmk20 on their checkout page that brings the price on the Lomax down to $706 and change. I think @eccracer104 can get us special forum pricing at autoanything.com as well. I will likely hit him up after my taxes are done if I have any $$ leftover. I think the Lomax is at the top of my list now.

Edit, I see you have a DC. The $706 is for the Crewmax with deck rail system. The DC is a little more $ ($762).

Now i know they had some problems with the seems early on and I think they fixed the issues. But I'm not sure how old the video is.
