    Good morning Tundra family!
    Got a call yesterday AM that my 91 year old dad had to go to the hospital with a serious GI problem. Spent the day there while they tried to figure out what’s going on. Turns out it’s an infection in one of his kidneys that is being caused by a stone blocking the exit to the bladder. They took him in last night to put a drain in so they can get the fluid out and kill the infection. Once that’s drained, they’ll decide how to deal with the stone. He’ll come through this because he’s one tough old man, all 5’-4” and 140 lbs of him!
    Funny side story: When I got to the hospital yesterday, they told me that they had to cut his clothes off of him because he puked all over himself in the ambulance. They gave me the rest of his belongings. These consisted of his wrist watch, his belt and, believe it or not, his TV remote. :eek2: We had a good laugh about that one. I guess it was important to have that with him.
    Today is going to be hectic. I’m on my way over to see him now for a while. Then I’ll go into the office and do something that I was supposed to get done yesterday. My boss said not to worry about it, but that’s not me. After that, I’ll try to get my usual Saturday errands run. Hoping to be able to relax tonight.
    Luckily, last night’s storm was only rain here.
