I’m curious who’s done an engine swap on a tundra and got rid of the 4.7. I’ve seen one that had been 2jz swapped and that’s been it. I’m more interested in information on what hits on trans tunnels, height issues on different engines etc. My engine and trans have over 330,000 on them and I’m having torque converter shutter that I’ll be addressing soon. I don’t really like the engine or transmission enough to do the work to replace the torque converter so I’m thinking about swapping the whole thing out. My last truck had a 429 and I wish my tundra had the power the did. I’m currently considering a big block Chevy with th400 due to cost and parts availability. Thanks for and ideas or info on the subject.

That would be cool, So would a 4BT if you can find one for under $4000.
