Hi all, so as title suggest , I have my phone connected to my stock stereo and the blue tooth works fine for music but when I try to use hands free to make or answer a call it pretends I am not paired and says I must pair my audio device first. I know it worked at one time but now no matter how many times I reboot and reconnect phone it won't let me use it as a phone. It's a standard radio not jbl or nav. unit. Is there a reset for the audio system? It's really irritating I've wasted hours of my life trying to get it to work properly. Also my horn doesnt work but the steering wheel buttons seem ok. I'm usually pretty good a tech stuff but this has me licked. If I try one more time with no success something will be smashed!!! Any ideas? I've tried searching but haven't come across the same issue.

Thought I'd post my own answer easier to find for others. Two ways to hook up an iPhone. As a phone or as an audio device, can't do both so I deleted as an audio device and reconnected as a phone using the phone buttons. Seems to have worked
