Hi! So my wife daily drives a 16 crewmax. We use it to tow 7-10k frequently and she enjoys the stock ride quality.

We want to get it off the ground a bit (aesthetics, zero offroad..we both have built rigs for that we tow), but the ride quality needs to stay top notch and I need to make sure it can still tow and the suspension doesn't sag in the back I'd the tongue weight hits 2k.

    I'm thinking 35" tires.

I don't want anything cheap like Rough Country. I'm an experienced Jeep builder/fabricator but I dont want to start over with research so I just wanted to ask the experts

What's good but not overkill? A part list would help or point me to the right vendor and I'll ask them! Thanks =)

I have 295/65/20. I have a 6 inch lift. With that being said I think a 35 inch tire does not have the side wall rating as the 295/65. I have a pondtoon but only pulled into 2-3 times after I got my truck. Not towed anything yet with my lift kit. @Prostar 190 pulls with his and @Mnorris1206 pulls a camper. I am going to get spring helps and I think Morris does to. Good luck

I just installed the 6112 setup with 34's. I really like it. However, here's something to think about -- after driving on the larger tires for a while, I'm now planning to re-gear the truck to 4.88's. I tow about 6500 lbs and I just don't want to lose the performance. 35's will be worse.

So for towing, I've realized the gearing has a bigger impact than the suspension choice.

I will definitely regear the truck after the tire change.

When I said 35s, I'm basically just estimating tire size. 295s, 285s etc are close enough and there are more options there for higher load ratings so we will definitely go that route.

From a ride quality perspective, and this is purely anecdotal, my wife commented a few times this weekend that the truck is much more comfortable than it was with the stock setup. We were on a 500 mile road trip, so she had plenty of time to experience the ride. And this was with the tires at 50 psi! I'm on 6112/5100 with 1.5" shackles and poly bushings.
