Left Ford after growing up with them, because of some issues that they say is normal. I guess they thought I was just another nonner they would dismiss. I told them if they don't fix my truck I'm going with another manufacturer. They didn't believe me.... So I traded in my 2016 Lariat and bought a 2019 1794. I would love to upload a pic, but unfortunately, it's in the shop. I was able to drive the truck a whole four days before it went in. The sunroof made some loud popping noise, then opened and closed a couple of time by itself before finally staying shut. And today after they replaced the cable and motor they called me to tell me it made a popping noise when they tried to operate it, now they have to order more parts. I also noticed that the little plastic piece covering the camera on the windshield makes the most annoying popping noise when you hit the smallest bump in the road or go around a corner. The backup camera lines, that one would assume, helps you line up the trailer hitch, in fact does not help as it is off center by about 6 inches. The dealer says it is what it is. And also when the truck goes into drive from reverse there is a slight pop in the front end. Which sounds like the drive train but Toyota says it is the ABS cycling and it is normal. It appears that it doesn't matter the manufacturer they all are crap. The ONE and ONLY reason I went with Toyota is because of the reliability factor. I guess the good news is after tomorrow I will have 10 days down on the 30 days in the shop for the lemon law to take effect. I am also going to try and get them to throw in a rear stabilizer bar for my troubles, cause the body roll on this thing is just crazy. But hey, at least I have a Tundra.

    UPDATE:
Service called me yesterday evening and said it was all ready for me. I said “great I’ll pick it up in the morning, but do me a favor and double check his work. The last time I took a truck in that required trim work they scratched the shit out of it. And seeing how it’s a light grey liner I don’t want no finger prints all over it” Service called me this morning and said “I had two guys look it over and it’s good to go.” So I drive two hours to get there and sure as shit B-pillar is all scratched and gouged headliner and sun visors full of greasy finger prints, and gob of grease on rear seat headrest, as well as crap on the outside of all four doors. Service manager involved now. Suppose to call me Tuesday with update. He said he agrees it’s BS and he will make it right. Along with full detail full tank of gas and deliver to my house. I said if you really want to make me happy. Fix it deliver it with a new rear sway bar. As I was leaving he told the service advisor to order a sway bar. Now it’s just a wait and see. Next Wednesday will be 14 days in the shop with only four days of driving.

UPDATE to the UPDATE: Went to the dealership today and truck was torn apart. They ordered a headliner and the wrong one arrived. They informed me they had a meeting and it was decided they would give me a new truck. So today got a different 2019 1794 mesquite. This one doesn’t have the issues the other one had (noises, popping and few other annoying defects). Also got tinted windows and a spray-in-bedliner, plus they are still throwing in the rear sway bar all at no additional cost. They made things right so I can’t be pissed. I’m very happy overall now.

Welcome from AZ! Hope they get you squared away. Bought my 2018 new in October and haven't had any issues yet, so let's just chalk yours up as a fluke...

Watt Maker I agree. The sun roof wasn't something I wanted but it comes with the smoked mesquite. The only good thing about a sun roof is you can open it on long trips and not have to hear the wife talk.

Yeah, none of them are perfect and bummer about your sunroof. ABS is normal and agree the backup camera is off a few inches, so annoying, right?...I adjust for it and can line up my boat hitch perfect every time.

I don't have a camera on my windshield, so I can't help you out there.

Oh, I did replace the serpentine tensioner but that has been it.

Rear sway bar is a great add...whether they buy it for you or not. So is the supercharger...;)
