cold intake, catback dual exhaust. 3" lift kit with coil overs. roof rack with spare, trd emblem 33" tires. Whole truck Led Swap. 2005 Headlight swap.
I have tried to delete the drls on my truck because i have super bright leds and only want them on when I want to turn them on. I have tried disconnecting the resistor next to the battery on the sidewall and that just turns off the headlights altogether but leaves the running lights on. Then I tried removing the fuses for the drl system but that doesn't seem to do anything. It does seem to look like the drl no4 relay has been taken out before I got the truck so I am going to try to reinstall that relay then unplug the resistor to see if that works. Still haven't gotten the answer. I also understand that you can snip a green/white (shown in tacomas) wire on the headlight relay (haven't found it yet, looked behind glovebox and next to drivers floor panel.) but I cant find it. Any one have ideas or have deleted the drl's on this tundra?
