I'm looking at purchasing a set of bars for the truck to make entry into the truck a little easier for the family. My truck has pretty low miles and I'd like to keep the seats in like new condition. And easier access to the bed sounds like a good idea as well.

I like the idea of the 6 step Nfab bars and prefer the black textured look for my Phantom Gray truck but $550 is a bit steep but doable.

I'm hopeful some members may have some pictures of this setup you could share and any alternate options to the Nfab (at a cheaper price).

1219181051.jpg When I had my 06 Tundra I 'Bought' a pair of Weston Wheel To Wheel bars for it. Don't have pics of that one but here's one of my 2010 with WTW ICI's. The Westons were 3 inch, ICI's are 4. They come in "Goth Black" for all who shall remain Chrome-less too!:D

I'd like a close up pic of the 3 step Nfab bar on a Gen 1 DC; I'm curious how close the bar sits next to the cab.
Hopefully one of the folks on this forum will help us out.

Hey abcinv, would you let me know what type of bug / stone deflector you have on your hood?

Here's an older picture of my truck that shows the deflector a little better (and before I swapped my rims out). It is made by Formfit and ships out of Canada (couldn't find one stateside). So with shipping it's a little pricey. Google tundra formfit deflector and it'll pop right up.

EDIT - I just looked at the website and shipping to the lower 48 is now included in the price. Still $110 but is less than I paid 3 years ago...

Thanks for the props; I do try to take care of it. I'm fortunate I have a daily driver so this sits most of the time under the pole barn; right at 63k miles.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the 3 step NFab bar, I'm not seeing much else I like. And being a 1st Gen we don't have near as many options...
