Just bought my 08 Tundra, it has a K&N intake from the previous owner. I don't want to mess around with reusable air filters, I would rather just buy disposable air filters that I can drop in when it needs replacing. What would be the best way to go back to a stock or stock-like air intake setup? I know they make a TRD air intake kit, is that worth it? I'm thinking the best way is to just buy some parts on Ebay unless there is a cheaper aftermarket stock-like kit. Thoughts?

When I got my Tundra, it came with an aFe intake. I found a complete stock intake on ebay for less then $100. We also have awesome members on here that will sell / give away theirs if they have one laying around. Search eBay and post on this site. You'll be good.

When I bought my truck it came with a volant and the owner gave me the oem. I had to put the oem on for my smog check but then put the volant back on. For some reason the volant would trip the mass airflow sensor. I cleaned it twice with carb cleaner and it tripped it a third time which lights up the dash like a Christmas tree. I put the oem back on and have not had a problem since.
