hello folks, I’m new to the tundra and need a bit of advice, I just bought my first Toyota and it has a leveling kit on it, it measured 2”, but the back is stock, the front end looks higher then the back and I just don’t like it at all, I’ve been researching a lot and I seen where I can buy toytec shackles and put on the back and make it more level, but would it be any easier to just pull the lift spacers off the front coil springs? I’m more of a stock truck kinda guy with the exception of aftermarket wheels maybe??? What would do me best? Is the spacers hard on the front at all? Or should I take em out? By the way my teuck is a 2014 ext cab 4x4 tundra with the 5.7

It's easier to install shackles than to remove spacers. That said, urinal cake spacers are not desirable as they make the ride a little harsher (preloading the springs) and can cause shock failure in some (generally off road) situations.

I would leave the spacers in since they’re already there. You’ll have to pay labor to have them removed and get an alignment. This will cost more than just adding shackles or blocks to the rear. If it’s the above coil type spacer that doesnt put a preload on the coil, they won’t do any harm at all and won’t affect your ride. You may regret taking them out if you want to get bigger tires etc.. You can in inexpensively add 1” to the rear by adding a shackle lift or a couple blocks. This will make your truck look a lot better by adding a touch of factory rake back to it.
