So I was told that the tires that I have on my truck has which are NRG'S which stick out about a inch and a half will not pass inspection with NO FENDER FLARES. Ok I kinda understand but they won't even let me bring my original rims/tires unless they are already installed on the truck. Am I just being over zealous?

Just put on your old wheels and tires. Just showing them you have them doesn’t make sense to me. That’s like having an illegal CAI in California installed and expecting to pass smog by showing them the oem intake in a box in the bed of the truck.

Or am I not understanding what you’re saying?

Silver lining. If you have the spare tires and rims, Slap them on and get the sticker. Take before and after pics. Good time to detail the fancy rims inside and out. Spend what you saved as down payment on flares.
