    Hey guys,

I've been lurking on this site for a few months now, so I've decided to finally post. Riding in a 2006 Tundra DC, not much done to it. In the progress of removing all the chrome. If anyone can point to some clear corner lights, that'll be appreciated.

    mytundie.jpg

Edit: Has a Borla exhaust, from the previous owner. And that mesh grille, recently added the vintage Toyota emblem

Looking to do quite a lot to this truck but being a broke college student, its going to take a bit

    Welcome!

You can fit the Sequoia corner lights in the Tundra with minor modifications. Did it on my 1st gen a while back.

The chrome pieces along your fenders can be removed as well. I did that and just put some bolts back into the holes and it looked great.

Also the section of chrome trim along the middle of the doors can be removed. I found some at an automotive store and blacked it out and replaced mine myself since the chrome had faded into a grey color.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I'll be removing the chrome from the fenders in a few days but heard the paint under might need some buffering so I'm currently saving for that. Actually don't mind the grey piece on the doors but I'll probably end up plasti-dipping them black along with my side mirrors and the chrome plate on the front bumper.

They actually don’t cover up much of the paint, couldn’t even tell they were ever there when I removed mine and cleaned up the mildew underneath. You might try to remove one and see how it looks, with any luck you won’t need paint correction. It was fairly noticeable when I removed my emblems / pinstripes though so wouldn’t recommend that at this point.

Emblems already removed ;). With your encouragement, I'll remove the fender chrome real soon, perhaps tomorrow. Thanks again.
