One person has them in this forum and seemed to love them. Can’t find the thread....I actually will be purchasing these soon. I like the fact that you can keep the metal bumpers. Adds a little bit more protection than a complete replacement which are plastic.

Check the link posted above your post. I believe they do just what you’re aiming for. Cheaper too.

I have those caps and they are great. I went with the cement. Take less than 15 minutes to put on. Paint quality was excellent it matched really nice.

Clean bumper, slide on, secure with double sided tape, and tighten down with a screw and plug on rear.

For the front, reuse bolts on bottom (3) and use (2) replacement in the wheel well and done.

I went this route because I did not want to pay $1600 for painted end caps. Parts are distributed through southeast toyota.

And you get 5% off at sparks with the tundradude34 code

I have been thinking about getting these for my cavalry blue tundra, but they are pretty expensive. However, the blue is a kind of unusual color, so I the idea of these being prepared by a dealer. Hopefully they would match.

protection from pebbles and squirrels at best. if you have removed the bumper before you will notice that it's all plastic where the chrome caps attach, dont lure yourself into a false sense of protection.

if your chrome caps were to meet a trike or wagon in your driveway it will come off pretty quick, especially in this cold weather. with plastic end caps it may all work together as it should flex enough in warm weather but in the cold the end result is the same.

the center valance is an all plastic assembly that covers a mega chunk of aluminum that is the real bumper. these covers or actual end caps are all 100% for cosmetics and color matched for aesthetics.

What about the Parking sensors? Any solutions for those of us that need an audible tone to help us park?

Man, aside from these being way easier to do, it’s just really expensive. I had mine powder coated for less than half that. Unless skipping the labor and time to remove your bumpers is worth $400.00, I just can’t see it being worth it.
Of course, black is easy for a powder coater to match. White also. The other colors would likely be tough.

To buy replacement caps for front was $511 and the rear replacement caps and needed accessories was going to be $966 plus shipping.

I did not want to paint over the chrome although I probably could have and saved a little money

Before I went with powder coat, a dealership quoted me $2,400.00 to swap all four out. That was with labor, but if I remember correctly, the parts were the vast majority of it.

the $1600 is for color match caps and accessories needed to install. If you got them for $400 you got a great deal.

@atl1glf Thanks for the pictures. I’ve got an ‘18 Silver Sky Tundra, I WAS contemplating getting the front bumper center valance in silver sky coupled with the silver sky bumper caps from Sparks. After seeing your Tundra I dig the contrast between the OEM Cement bumper caps and the black front bumper center valance. Just OEM 1D6 bumper caps for me, saved me some money Brother.

The original part in question isn't for sale anymore. Is there something out there for front and rear for my 2019 silver tundra?
