Mine are TredPros and it barely fits under my tonneau and over the wheel well. It's actually tilted a tiny bit.

Hmmmmm These look like they’d work well for maxtrax or rotopax because they rest against the bed and the floor. Pics are on a Tacoma though.

I know people have just been making their own maxtrax bed rail mounts from things at the hardware store BUT

I wonder if this will work?
    https://rotopax.com/toyota-nissan-truck-plate.html
Drill appropriately spaced holes (as long as they are long enough) and use the maxtrax bolt down kit. Everyone says these are not strong enough for loaded rotopax but I’m sure they’d be sufficient for the weight of maxtrax right?

Hmm only 16lbs for 2 trax can’t need that much support. Hard part is there’s really nothing to mount on the lower part. Needs some kind of triangulation to be solid. I’ll try to think of some ideas for you guys.

Also keep in mind when those tracks get mud all in them, they weigh like a thousand lbs.

That is very true. Totally forgot to think about that part. Thanks for the heads up!

Im pretty sure this is not an issue of weight..strait from the Toyota brochure.

Includes four tie-down bed cleats made of sturdy die-cast aluminum,
accommodating a maximum load of 880 lb. (220 lb. each)

I think a well thought out mount would work well muddy or not.
Curious though what sort of orientation would you want to see?

Little late to this thread, but I'm trying to design a rigid plate (or frame) that will mount to the two holes at the bed standards (via well-nut or rivet-nut) and to brackets that will be mounted on the lower side behind the existing bed cargo hooks. A no-drill mount is what I'm after. I'm installing a tonneau on my truck, and would like to design this for holding fuel tanks and recovery gear without having to put locks on everything (since it'll be hidden under the tonneau).

We’re currently working on a solution that will mount the tred pro boards as well as the maxtrax ones!

I had the Rago mounts on my Tacoma and they work great with 4 Maxtrax mounted and are lockable. I plan on putting them on my Tundra next time I go to dunes or snow. They are also height adjustable.
