Had a guy bragging about Buck knife and how it'll cut a bolt so we called him out on it. Sure nuff, he got his Buck out, found a bolt and a hammer...it didn't end well. Nothing against Buck, he hit the hammer out toward the tip, the knife was doomed.

I don't brag, but mine does the job for what it's used for, cardboard, plastic wrap, rubber, rope out here for work, I sharpen daily, even when it don't get used

I seem to lose one every five years or so; but I actually found one I thought I lost after purchasing a new one. So now I have two.

Too damn cold outside to be running around the woods unless I get a call out, so decided to clean out my field pack which is a 5.11 Rush 24. I finally found all my carry knives. 93B48D0F-8771-492A-9E50-A32CC18BF3DD.jpg838BE2E1-801D-46A0-B140-A15DC8A8D68C.jpg

Machete, knock off Ka-bar, Leatherman Wave and Sog Shovel went back in the pack, everythng else is back in the truck to go home, to one day end up back in the pack. Was able to shed some weight, which is a good thing.

My EDC is a Kershaw Leek, carried tip up. I use a King Japanese 800 grit water stone to set the edge and then a stolen-from-the-wife nail polishing tri-grit foam sanding stick to keep it razor sharp.

I have an A.G. Russell Field sharpener kit. Its a set of diamond rods, and a set of ceramic rods set at 30 degrees total angle, 15 per side.

Every year on my birthday I send my knife back to benchmade and have them rebuild it. They do it for the cost of shipping.... If the blade is jacked up they will put a new one on it. That part of the warranty is worth the price to me.

I just got the Edge Pro apex 4. I evolved from a lansky. It took me a while to part with the money for the edge pro. It is badass and definitely gets me the edge I want.

0130190915.jpg Robbie Dalton Battle Dragon, pretty rare being one of a limited run with Serrated Blade. I don't carry it much anymore, it's more of a "Special Purpose Tool."

Thanks Ben, Dalton had quite the "Dark" past but his automatic knives were made by him from the ground-up. He hand wound his springs for each blade, to give them the "Dalton Thunk" when fired. Gotta hold on tight or she'll jump out of your hand, lookin' for blood!:D

They’re alright but tend to be a little overpriced for what you get. Quality control can be somewhat hit or miss too, at least in my experience. I have a Boker Kwaiken that I do really like though

Been carrying this for around 12 years. Buck-Strider SBMF. I also have the Tarani version of this one. I just don't EDC it.

One day I'll own a true Strider SMF.

My Every Day Carry is a Bench Made 707. Carries perfectly between my belt and pants in the front when angled almost parallel to the belt. The 154 CM steel holds an edge reasonably well. IMHO, it's almost too expensive to carry, so I make the effort to keep track of it. I have a Sabenza 21 that I think is about the best made production knife there is. But at over $400, it's too expensive for me to carry on a regular basis. But Man, the build quality of that knife really great.

For the $$$ The Kershaw leek and chive are hard to beat. You don't feel bad if you break a tip or lose it either. That being said, grab a spyderco delica 4 and never look back!
