Looking at 6/7 inch lifts, I'm leaning towards the bds but the tire wear issue is something id rather not have to deal with. Does anyone know if the coachbuilders tie rod kit completely fixes this? I read the Ackerman from the spindles is the problem with the bds. Ive searched and cant find any info about the ready lift 6in or 8in kits, I like the ability to upgrade from the 6 to 8 for minimal cost. Ive only had procomp shocks and tires and wasnt impressed with the quality or performance of either one, I do like the x member brace on the procomp

That's 1 thing about bds and our trucks. Uneven tire wear. Go readylift. I haven't heard anyone complain about them. Plus if you go 6", you can upgrade it to 8" later on.

The only reason I picked Procomp was because of the 50k warranty..

I started with the Pro Comp lift but slowly replaced parts here and there. The Pro Comp is a decent lift. I not heard anything bad about ready lift.

I’m looking at either the 4” READYLIFT or the 4” PROCOMP myself

I’ve heard good things with all three of those companies. Hell ! I put a Tough Country on my Tacoma back in 2002 and my Son is still driving that thing around. Lots of good lifts out there.

All good info, best deal ive found seems to be the ready lift. Ive had bds on 3 other trucks with zero issues, but I just can't see spending another $500 to correct a known issue with the bds.

Nothing mechanical but for a smoother buttery ride, I installed shocks with optional tuning and removed the rear end block lift with atlas springs.
