What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

i've had mine a week and I have been very busy.
INSTALLED:
-all led upgrades for interior and exterior lighting
-true duel magna flow exhaust
-nerf bars/steps (gloss black)
-body painted door handles and mirror caps (chrome delete)
ORDERED:
-icon stage 5 kit
-TRD Big Brake Kit
-body matching caliper paint (truck is the Magnetic Grey Metallic)
-Fuel 20x9 couplers (gloss black)
-295/65/20 Nitto Terra Grappler G2
-JL Stealth box and upgraded speakers
-Magnusson Supercharger when it becomes available for the 2019's

 

Great upgrades, coming out the gate real strong. Would love to see it all in some pics, especially since u got a mgm, the best color possible. Don't let any of the guys here tell u otherwise. Dont be shy on the pics, especially once you get those big ticket items on there. This site has a saying, pics or it didn't happen. We'll give ya a pass this 1 time since it appears you're new to the site. Plus I have a thing for a women driving pickups. All jokes aside welcome to the forum and congrats on the new truck. Keep us posted with some pics when you get that awesome order on.

Yes That’s why I went with Goodyear DuraTracs. I had a discount of 20% and also $80 MasterCard cash back promo that runs through March.

The other tires I was considering were the BF Goodrich AT KO2’s but the cost was $250 more.

 

I went with KO2s this time. I knew I wanted either KO2s or Duratracs but I actually found the KO2s cheaper at Sam's Club. They beat everyone in my area on either tire by approximately $200 out the door. It's funny how timing and location affect the prices so much.

Nice. I'm working on doing a 3/2 As well. Along with 275 60r20 on stock wheels. I do a lot of miles for work so don't wanna go much taller than 33s

 

Figured I'd share this for anyone who might be interested. This is a hell of a product and today with a lightning deal on it for the next handful of hours, this is a hell of a price. I just placed an order couple min ago.

Right here, it's not what I've done TO my 3rd gen today. It's what I just did FOR my 3rd gen today. Nothing like peace of mind. Cant put a price on it. Now I can rid my bedslide of those big long jumper cables that take up a bunch of space.

Hope this helps someone else take advantage of a great deal right now. Retail is $139. I've seen them on sale for around $100 normally. Found it in past for as low as $89. For the next few hours it's $69, for that I'm in.

 

Nothing too crazy, but you gotta love the things that don't break the bank, it's the little things. Added a little bling to the door strike plate. Not too sure they will hold up over time, guess we'll see. Also not an exact match to the Toyota red, but it does look better than the plain ol metal door strike. Kept me busy while I wait for my delivery for a much more exciting interior mod.

If u just Google "trd door lock cover" a bunch will come up. From there u can pick color and style. I noticed in my Tundra the metal plate has the plate that comes more to a point. I'm not sure if the flat top will fit.

Gave the truck a hand wash today in this beautiful 45 degree weather we’re having in Delaware right now. Stopped by Lowe’s to pick up some new blinds for the house and left with a truck box as well! Picked up a craftsman. Not a bad box for under $300.

 

Perfect match.

 

Went ahead and painted exhaust pipe to match black chrome tip.

 

I used a heat gun and fishing line. Then used a 3M eraser wheel to pull off the adhesive.

 

What paint you use? Did you get area where you can see pipe through passenger rear wheel too?
