yea with budget in mind, your gonna be just as happy if not happier with the Bilstein. functional, simple, cost effective.

 

Installed and much better of a ride for sure. Only issue not is I am at 40" on the front wheel well and 39" in the rear. Is a shackle install the best way to take care of that 1in diff. I did think about changing the leafs for towing but don't really want a stiffer ride.

 

Measure from the center of the wheel for an accurate measurement.

 

I measured from ground up through center of hub to bottom of wheel well using a 4' level. Its exactly 1" low in the rear now.

 

That’s always pretty close. Center of the hub to the fender is more accurate. The discrepancies would be tire inflation and always it’s hard to find perfectly level ground. But I don’t doubt it’s lower in the back.

I installed the pro suspension on my truck. No shims or anything. Sometimes it looks nose high and sometimes it looks perfectly level. Eventually I will address the rear.

 

Your likely nose high because of the CB shims. How many did you add? 2 on driver and 1 passenger? Add a CB +2 shackle in the rear and you should be good to go.

 

I went with 2 cb shims on the front. Both sides. The pro shocks seem to compensate for the driver side lean. I only need 1" in the real but still use a +2 shackle?

 

That depends on what your current measurements are and whether you want leveled or maintain some rake. Also keep in mind the CB+1 shackle is actually like 0.75” and the +2 is roughly 1.5”. If you measure the difference between the front and rear that should tell you what you need. Just pay attention to the actual heights/ adjustability of whichever company you go with.
