TRD Air Filters, Front door windows tinted to match the rears. Wheel locks, Talons Garage cat shield, Tyger Automotive soft tonneau cover, WeatherTech floor mats with Tuff Skinz Custom Emblem kit, Toyota OEM Emblem Black Out kit. AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
    Mike,

It’s actually a plug that you swap out. The new ring glows but for some reason the one that came with the truck doesnt.

I believe that the real use for the part has something to do with reading the chip in your key. That’s why it is vehicle specific.

This pic was provided by another owner on here.

The only hard part for me was taking the time to work loose the bottom half of the column cover. Once I got that off it was a matter of unplugging the small part.

Yep, same boat. Was happy to do it at the ~$40 price, but quickly went down to my 'maybe' list at $114.

    All done!!!!:D

    Very simple
    Remove 2 screws
    Pull lower cover down
    Use pry tool to unclip
    Unplug wire harness
Plug in new one and put back together.
It took longer to put tools away.

This is how it works, turns on when doors open or remote opens locks and fades off just like interior lights.

A little of this and a little of that.

The MX4 is holding up very nice. No problems at all. Very pleased with it. My X2 somehow , when unrolling, got pinched the wrong way and bent. I wouldn't buy another X2 or X4 again.

    That's BS!

Swapped the Michelin’s for BFGoodrich KO2 275.70.18 and just picked it up after getting the Avery Satin Black roof wrap finished up. It was too cold to do tints and will be doing double ceramic Optipro coating after the dealer fixes the scratch they put on the bumper after installing the cover..

Added spidertrax 1.25 spacers to my stock trd 20’s so it would stop rubbing on my sway bar. Now it rubs on the front wheel well liner. Used a heat gun and got rid of most of the rubbing.

Well, I've had it 5 days. Set the radio presets, washed it, and cleaned the mats. Read the quick start manual. I love this truck!
