    Mine came today and it is very good quality and nicely built and heavy but unfortunately I will not be able to install it till the weekend and I hope it sounds as good as it looks.

    Received and installed today. Definitely a noticeable improvement over the stock sub. There is not a lot of slack in the wire so you may want to splice a connector as some others have suggested, I was able to make it work by just cutting the wire as close to the connector as possible.

    Thanks @Pudge for putting this group buy together. Thanks @james@tech12volts for a quality product.

    Keep me posted on the door speaker group buy!

    JBL replacement sub install

    1 remove box from carboard

    2 remove sub from enclosure and remove Styrofoam from below sub magent . This is for support while shipping

    3 remove the 4 17 mm bolts holding drivers side rear seat . move seat forward. Pull up then forward.

    4 remove the 100 mm bolts holding in factory sub enclosure . unplug the plug.

    5 cut the factory wires and strip them back

    6 place new sub where sub is in the middle of the drivers side rear .

    7 put factory wires into new terminal cup . blue goes to the red input . white goes to black . test it by turning on the system . reinstall seat

    I got my SECOND :confused::rofl:shipping notification today for a sub arriving on Monday. Since I already have one in transit, due here tomorrow, I immediately sent James an email as I had a feeling they had accidentally sent a second one. Sure enough, there had been a mistake made in shipping. I can understand how mistakes can be made with large orders and wanted to nip this in the bud if that was the case. Only paid for one, not two. lol...

    Damn this sucker is HEAVY. Looks very well built. I'll be installing tomorrow evening. Very excited. I hope I can cram mine in without too much trouble, I have a lot of sound deadening on my back wall, it may take some trimming for me.

    That makes no sense. Why would they put the sub on the correct side and then run wires to the opposite side of the box for the posts.
