    Thanks. :thumbsup: You clearly know what I'm talking about. Me and my high school buds wheeled in western and eastern Oregon. Two total extremes. Bad ass wheeling with trucks and CJ's that aren't anything like today but still "made it". Broke down a lot, sure. Same trails,same rocks,same mud, same sand, just fancier suspensions for a better ride. No Go Pros back then and gatekeepers? Gatekeepers?

    The tire was right above my knees at the lowest point so somewhere around 2 feet? Maybe a little more? I'll find a better forklift this week and do it again. The other 3 tires were still on the ground, even the rear lol.

    Gatekeepers are obstacles at the beginning of trails to keep the people that shouldn't be on the trail out. Sometimes it works...sometimes a vehicle needs to get dragged out.

    Good luck on the ones in CO. They are usually rather large boulders.

    It has to be rocks or desert? So literal. The whoops that I go through in the desert you high center if you crawl over them. Big trucks you can build big travel numbers without sacrificing ride height. Again, it clearly means your definition of "serious" and mine are different. I'm not discounting it, just my interpretation. Everyone has their own interpretation of what that means and I'm all for sharing experiences.     That is serious shit for sure. But you do realize you represent maybe 2% (OK maybe a little more)of folks that wheel. What you do is SERIOUS SHIT off roading, not "lower case" serious off roading that a lot of us do. Still try to keep up...heh...heh...

    Colorado has a lot of OHV trails that very by difficulty. I've posted some pics where I've taken my Tundra and try let on how difficult/easy it may be. Locations too. I was under the impression this thread was for places that we take our long wheel base Tundras. I'm getting older so maybe I missed the part here about closed course, non Tundra, long travel,short wheel base rock krawling rigs with "gatekeepers" to keep our Tundra's from getting in and "Let go fast from point A to B" on dirt logging roads. (Joking) Most OHV trails here in CO have certain guidelines that should be followed, such as speed (there is abundant wildlife and other wheelers of all types out there too using the same trails), staying on the trail (making new trails is highly frowned upon here) See:Stay the trail.com. I'll continue reporting on some of the places that I take my TUNDRA that I consider to be serious wheeling. Most likely many other Tundra owners here would agree I'm thinking. I could be wrong of course. You first gen Tundras have it a little easier with your shorter wheel bases, smaller footprints. It's all about having fun no matter what you do, where you go.. I get it. Jberry's truck is set up perfect for almost anywhere. Not fair..

    Ah, the famous "golden crack" is one of my favorite trails in Moab.

    The second pic, is that on Pritchett at rocker knocker?

    Exit of Hells Gate, always a show. Some don't fair out so well on that trail.

    The last picture makes me laugh. Looks like your truck was dropped from a helicopter.

    Not sure how you keep the body panels intact. My nemmissis is hoods. I might as well just not run one.

    This thread was for off-road and trails with our Toyota/Tundra trucks. In appropriate for this thread is if I were to start posting pics of Jeeps. Most of us here know I like hardcore off-roading, but this is for us Toyota guys.

    Pretty much anything "serious" for my truck would be a logging road due to exactly what you said Matt. The trails are tight, some are pretty rough with no turn around.

    Keep the pics and video coming, trail location and brief discription of what you thought of the trail.
