I have started cycling again as a way to get and remain healthy cause I'm 52 and was tired of being fat, drunk, stupid, and ugly. The fat and drunk is all I can change but I Lost over 60lbs in the last year and I'm addicted to cycling more than ever. I ride road and trail. Let's see your bikes. Here are mine. (Yes I have 5 bikes now :anonymous:)
    The old ones. 96 R600 and 97 Super V 500 SL.

The new ones. 2015 CAAD 12, Scalpel 29 4, and the current build is a Scalpel Carbon Team bike. I have carbon wheels, carbon Lefty, carbon Bars, and carbon seat post on it now (2 week old pic) and my SRAM Eagle XO1 1x12 crankset came in today.

Just rode 20 miles myself today. Don't ride as much as I used to since I had kids. But still try to get out as much as I can.

Gotta watch that lifting. Easy to get obese if you quit. Know a lot of dead guys that were bodybuilding in their 20's-30's then got lazy and blew up.

I enjoy cycling, but I hate the thought of losing gains from doing too much of it. Muscle babies are expensive and always have the priority.

Only reason they get obese is they don't alter their eating habits to fit their lifestyle. I'm a stickler for nutrition more than I am bodybuilding/strength training. I know you've got to agree, the older we get, the more we have to alter our nutrition due to metabolism, protein synthesis, hormonal changes, etc. I don't eat the same way I did when I was 20. If I did, I'd be the poster boy for obesity awareness! LOL

Cyclist call weightlifting "body sculpting". Do some curls to look like they have a lemon under their skin. I burnt off 60 lbs of old weightlifting gains that softened up from beer saturation and eating too much.

I still eat 4000-5000 calories a day. I have to ride at least 25 miles a day or get on the elliptical for an hour and a half to maintain a svelte 198lbs. Cheesecake is good fuel you know. :homer:

Marine Corps prevents me from getting too jacked. Still have to do well on timed 3 mile runs as well as countless hikes.

I like the cycle of the action on my AR.
I'm also into the drought/ rainfall cycle.
Don't care much for the current presidential election cycle.
