The more I see my directionals in reflections it angers me. They're weak as shit, Toyota definitely dropped the ball on them. What is the easiest fix? New LED bulbs? The flashback setup or whatever it's called? Help me out, this is going to be my next mod.

I've been thinking the same thing. To the point I worry oncoming cars can't see me signaling. LEDs with resistor is the fix. I wish I did it when I installed my new headlights. I didn't wanna spend the extra cash but I know I will be soon. @BlueBottle I think is the man to talk to

The whole resistor thing is German to me. Where does it go?

I think it goes inline with the power wire to prevent hyperflash. Someone will know better than I.

What Jim linked is what I have. You can get them w plug and play resistors and not worry about anything. No splicing. Get 3ohm resistors per side if your doing led to both front and rear. 6 ohm is your only doing the front in led.

I do somewhere but Have no idea where it is lol. It’s somewhere in this site.

I have 2 sets of these resistors brand new. Each resistor will only take care of 1 led bulb. $12 shipped each or $20 shipped for both sets.

For what its worth, I had a guy come up to me at the grocery store and tell me he can't see the turn signals of mine and other Tundra's. This after almost turning in front of me into the lot. I've had a couple other times where people at 4-way stop didn't realize I was turning. Once the guy told me, I knew I had to switch.

After searching quite a bit on here and learning a heck of a lot about LEDs and our trucks, I bought multiple LED bulb types including $60 LASFIT bulbs with canbus built in and a $40 LASFIT switchback w/o canbus. I returned both of these. I ended up with the $20/pair LASFIT 7443 bulbs on Amazon and they are brighter than bright. No canbus or resistors needed. No hyperflash and people definitely see me turning now. I have stock 2018 DC SR5 with LED headlights. Here's the one I bought on AMZ...hope it helps.

I just dropped $$$ on their site in a multi-bulb purchasing extravaganza as a result of this thread.

Once installed, expect a roller coaster of a thread replete with up to the minute feline/Great Dane poo updates

I used the same bulb for the front indicators in my 18 SR5 with the OEM LED headlights and works without hyperflashing.

Do the LASTFIT, JDM Astar or VLED bulbs for the front blinker still work as DRL?

The LASFIT does NOT work as DRL on the 2018 OEM headlights. I tried the $40/pair switchback model hoping it would. Only the amber illuminated during signaling only. The white stayed off.

Thanks! I just took a look at these, and my Amazon app says this product will NOT fit my 2018 Tundra. Is Amazon mistaken? Thanks again!
